I understand that new donghua are being released or planned, but Fanren should not be compromised. The pacing of this story simply does not work in 15 minutes—it works best at 30 minutes. If you go back and watch the entire story from the very start, you’ll see that this rhythm is perfect.
Therefore, I appeal to Director Lin Yu’ang and the production team: please do not shorten the episodes. On the contrary, increase their length. You already have a substantial fanbase for A Record of Mortal’s Journey to Immortality—don’t gamble it away for new donghua that may not achieve the same success.
