They hyping us fr for the next episode!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Also, if you guys didn’t know I saw a screenshot from someone about the end dates of some donghuas but apparently this one is ending somewhere in 2040. If it is real then damn.
After watching Battle Through the Heavens today, once a top donghua, I must say:
I love this story ! — it is truly multilayered and I enjoy every single piece of it. The storytelling makes each character compelling, and the fights are both rewarding and spectacular, elevating the entire narrative. With strong emotional anchors, you want to protect those close to Han while loathing his enemies.
Despite the fact that Han takes no interest in romance, focusing only on cultivation, you can still feel it in the air — an undercurrent that makes the story absolutely phenomenal.
This is a world apart from Tencent productions. This is the pinnacle of storytelling, the best of the best.
@Pat Ya BTTH held the top spot during the Three Year Agreement Arc, which was great. But man, Renegade Immortal and RMJI, and I’ll add in Tales of Herding Gods, have really separated themselves as the kings of peak storytelling. I feel like those three have such deep world building, each episode no matter what happens is enjoyable and seemingly at the same time are all just a few episodes away from seeing some crazy action packed fight scenes. (Martial Master also gets my respect, even if it is a notch or two down in terms of budget/animation.)
Now I just have to force myself not to think about them for another week until new episodes are out. Though, I have been thinking about starting the RMJI novels.
Noo cliff-hanger!! Such an intense and suspenseful episode 🥰🔥
I believe my boy Han Li will make it through this.
Noooo a cliff-hanger!!!! Now I need to wait another week.
