Animation was amazing, story was interesting, but repetitive… I cannot remember how many times the fox was killed and came back to be killed again… Last but not least, the main character was useless, an extra, for like 95% of the entire season… We can even think the real main character is the red girl of fire, not… him.
This was certainly different from the typcial cultivation donghua. The girls wer all good. The story was good but I also drawn out, it kinda kept giving me the vibes as if it was still “Prologue/Chapter 1 of a game”. I also found the “traveling through 3000 worlds” shit kinda stupid. I also can’t really grasp the feelings between MC and Xiang’er and the pace at which they change.
So for now JiaJia has 3 years to win him over? Then again its an donghua so I harems are better executed then in anime.
