You have some good points. Even though I enjoy this show a lot throughout the seasons. All these Deities seem just as petty and shameless as times like the mortals. I was also wondering why they won’t let Li’er chose her own spouse, and allow such a ridiculous competition. As if 10 year periods is not bad enough, they also make multiple rounds.
The person she loves the most is being kept away from her. They been in love since forever. He work so hard not just for himself and his family, but also to one day reach her and be with her. Now her stupid parents is the main reason this competition is taking place, cause she is eyed by every other genius out there.
This is currently happening also in Battle Through The Heavens where Xiao Yan also have to now compete with other geniuses for the love of Linger from Gu Clan against spoilt Gu Clan brats who depend on Dao Di bloodline or some crap. So these two top donghua have similar fights happening now almost the same time.
I wated to say, it was worth the wait, the graphics are stunnig after the break BUT that is wrong! The graphics should have been like this without the need to put the donghua on hold.
